Implementing the
MOU on coordination in professional training of criminal investigations for the
Customs Control forces between the PPA and the General Department of Customs,
on March 24th, 2014, PPA held the opening ceremony the 3rd
professional training courses on criminal investigations for customs control forces.

Implementing the work program of the school year
2013-2014, on March 25th, the Department of Foreign Languages in
collaboration with others units within the PPA held the Contest “Who strikes
the golden bell” for all first-year students to create lively atmosphere and
further enhance the motivation of learning English for students from the first
school year. This was the opportunity for the lecturers and students to
exchange and improve the social knowledge through the questions in English.

With
the aims of reviewing the process of foundation and development of the Ho Chi
Minh Communist Youth Union during the past 83 years, creating the opportunity
for the youth of the PPA to express their gratitude to the contributions of generations
of Youth Union officials of PPA over
periods; on March 24th, the PPA held the Meeting to celebrate the 83th
founding anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and exchange with
generations of Youth Union officials of the PPA.

Public Security, on March 20th, 2014, the People's Police Academy
(PPA) and the People’s Security Academy (PSA) solemnly held the Signing Ceremony
of the Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding.

In the framework of annual activities of the Women's
Union of the PPA, on March 6th, 2014, the Women's Union Branch of
Education 2 visited and presented gifts for the pediatric patients at the
National Institute of Burns (Phuc La ward, Ha Dong district).

On March 12th,
2014, the PPA held the Conferences to study the contents of the Chapter IV “National
Defence" in the amended Constitution 2013 for all officers, lecturers,
employees of the PPA. Attending and directing the conference was Major General,
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA.

On February 27th,
2014, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA had a
courtesy meeting with Major General Chris McDevitt, Senior Liaison Officer-Chief
of the Australian Federal Police Office (AFP) in Vietnam.

Under the direction of the leadership of the Ministry of
Public Security on enhancing the movement “Public Security Forces learns and
follows the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh", on March 6th,
2014, the PPA held the conference to implement the moral example of President Ho
Chi Minh on ideology "Raising high the spirit of responsibility,
anti-individualism, talking along with doing”.

In 2008, with the consent of the leaders of the
Ministry of Public Security (MPS), the PPA signed the Memorandum of Understanding
on cooperation in training and scientific research with the Royal Police Cadet
Academy (RPCA). One of the important cooperative contents was that the two Academies
would exchange the training for police students of higher education system with
a period of 5 years (including 01 years to learn Thai). In 2009, after the two Academies
discussed and agreed with the contents of cooperation, the MPS decided to send
04 students of the PPA (the high quality class) to the RPCA. These students
were selected from those who had excellent scores at the entrance examination.

In the cheerful atmosphere of the Lunar New Year, on
March 06th, the PPA was solemnly held the Meeting to celebrate 104th
anniversary of International Women's Day, summarize work of Women's Union in
2013 and implement working program in 2014 under the chairmanship of Major
General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the Academy.

On February 24th,
at the PPA, the Party Committee of the Student Management Department held the
opening 1st Contest of excellent secretary of Party Institutions
within the Party Institutions of Students of the PPA in 2014.

On the occasion of the 59th anniversary of
Vietnam Doctor's Day (February 27th, 1955 - February 27th,
2014), on February 27th, 2014, the Representatives of Party
Committee, Directorate Board, officials and students of the PPA congratulated
doctors, nurses and orderlies who are working for the Medical Center of the
Academy.

On February 25th, 2014, the high-ranking Delegation
from the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of the State of Israel led by H.E.
Lieutenant General Yitzhak Aharonovitch, Minister of Public Security of Israel visited and worked with the PPA. Attending
the reception were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of
the PPA; Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA; Major
General Tran Gia Cuong, Director of Department of International Cooperation;
leaders of functional units within the PPA.

During 13th
and 14th, February, 2014, the PPA attended the 12th
Vietnam Poetry Festival 2014 with many exciting and impressive activities. In contests
of poetry and art performances, the PPA was honored to be awarded the first
prize.

In spite of the
rainy weather, on February 16th, a lot of PPA students were present
at the My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi)
to join in the Red Spring Festival 2014. With many significant activities such
as blood donation, dance, arts performance, the PPA students brought dramatic
impression to the festival.
