In the series of
activities to commemorate 68 years of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (27th
July, 1947 - 27th July, 2015); to express the gratefulness for the
great merits of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and reunion
of the nation, the happiness of the people; under the consent of the Party
Committee and Directorate of the PPA, the Youth Union of the Academy joined the
Candlelight Ceremony at Martyrs' Cemetery in Hanoi.

On 28th July, 2015, at the PPA, Lieutenant
General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the Academy had a meeting with
Mr. IWASE Satoshi, Representative of the National Police Agency - Embassy of
Japan in Vietnam. Attending the meeting were also the leaders of the
International Cooperation Department and the Office of the PPA.

announced the Information on the new contribution of academic and theory of the
thesis of Postgraduate student Do Van Hien.

To facilitate the member of the Fellow-countrymen
Association of Lao Cai province at the PPA to contribute to building the
homeland, the Youth Union of Public Security Department of Lao Cai province in
collaboration with the Youth Union of the PPA organized the volunteer program “Youth
of Public Security force jointly build new countryside” at Ban Qua village, Tan
Duong commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province. The program was carried out
from 06th - 11th
July, 2015 with the participation of 45 students from the PPA, the People’s
Security Academy and members of the Youth Union of Public Security Department
of Lao Cai province.

On July 24th, 2015, the PPA
held the Conference to summarize results of school year 2014 - 2015, implement
tasks of the school year 2015 - 2016 and commend the typical agencies and
individuals of the Academy.

On the occasion of 60th anniversary of Vietnam People’s Navy (May 7th,
1955-May 7th, 2015), 70 years of tradition of the Vietnam Public
Security force (August 19th, 1945-August 19th, 2015), on
July 16th, 2015, the delegation of the PPA led by Lieutenant
General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Secretary of Party Committee, President of
the Academy visited and presented gifts for the 4th Regional Command of Navy, Brigade
Submarine 189, Brigade 146 - Brigade Truong Sa and the families of martyrs and
soldiers in Cam Ranh military port, Khanh Hoa province.

Implementing Decision
No.530/QD-BCA-V12 dated 05/6/2015 of the Ministry of Public Security, from 8th
-19th June, 2015, the delegation of PPA led by Lieutenant Colonel Ta
Ngoc Vang - Deputy Head of Student Management Department successfully completed
the short-term training course at the Royal Thai Police Academy. Participating
the delegation were also officers of the Office of PPA, International
Cooperation Department, Faculty of Armed Police and 11 participants of the PPA.

Implementing the direction of the
Ministry of Public Security, on May 21st, 2015, the PPA held the Conference
to summarize 40 years of higher education of the PPA and the movement “For
national security” in period of 2010 - 2015 to assess the achievements and
propose the development directions in the next period.

In the morning of May 15th, 2015,
Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA chaired the Closing
Ceremony for training course on “Experience in investigation and international cooperation in
combating crime of human trafficking” co-held by the PPA, the US Embassy in
Hanoi, US Homeland Security Department and US Foreign Affairs Department.
