Dinh Phuong Thao - Secretary of the Youth Branch
B10D37 (specialty of English) of the PPA- is a beautiful and
talented girl of the female police students of the PPA. She made a strong
impression on students of the PPA when she used to be in charge of being the Youth Branch Secretary.

On October 27th,
2015, at the PPA, Senior
Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the Academy welcomed
Mrs. Aurelia Micko and Mr. Rene Acosta - Delegates from the United States
Agency for International Development (USAID). Attending the working session was
the presence of Mr. Sulma Warne - Deputy Director of the Freeland Non-Government
Organization in Bangkok and representatives of some functional units of the PPA.

In the
exciting, emulative atmosphere to celebrate Vietnamese Teacher’s Day in
November 20th, 2015, on the morning of November 4th, 2015,
the PPA solemnly held the opening ceremony for the 24th postgraduate course and
Master’s Degree Certification Presentation in 2015. Lieutenant General, Prof.
Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem – President of the PPA presided the ceremony.

Responding to the emulation campaign to celebrate Vietnamese Teacher's Day (November 20th) launched by the PPA, on October 28th, 2015, Department of Student Management held the opening ceremony for cultural – sport activities of the PPA’s students.

With the consent of the Board of Directors of PPA, from 11 to October 16th, 2015, the PPA arranged for the students of 2nd Master's degree joint program between the PPA and the University of Maryland, USA to be on a studying tour at the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City, the Public Security Department of Dong Nai and Tien Giang provinces.

The PPA announced the Information on the new contribution of academic and theory of the thesis of Postgraduate student Pham Thi Thuy Hang. Title of the dissertation: “The activities of the criminal investigation police force of social
order in the prevention of malicious wounding or grievous bodily harm
inflicting”

In the afternoon of October 26th, the PPA held the “Opening ceremony of the 6th excellent lecturer contest of the PPA” in the Academic year 2015 – 2016. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Major General, Prof.Dr.Nguyen Huy Thuat - Vice President of the PPA, Deputy Chief of the Contest; the members of the jury; the representative leaders, staff and teachers of the PPA’s units together with 54 lecturers participating in the contest.

Now as a final-year student of Specialty of High-Quality Investigation Police (class B11D37) of the PPA, Nguyen Trong Nghia is not only one of the outstanding talented students in both academic achievement and the activities of the PPA, but also is mentioned the fact that Nguyen Trong Nghia is the name endearing many teachers and friends at the PPA.

Implementing the Direction of MPS, the delegation of Women's Union of MPS consisting of 3 cadres of the Department of Legal Affair and Justice-Administration Procedure Reform, the PPA and the PPS attended the International Women in Law Enforcement Conference – Leadership, Collaboration & Security 2015 from Oct 6th to 8th, 2015 in the Indian National Police Academy, Hydrabad city, India.

In the morrning of 10/27/2015, the PPA organized a 02-year preliminary conference on implementing the Educational Testing and Quality Assurance. Attending and chairing the conference was the Major General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat - Vice President of the Academy.

In the morning of 22nd October, 2015, the Political General Department of Ministry of Public Security held “The commendation ceremony for first rank students in the university entrance exam and outstanding graduate ones of public security training institutions in 2015”.Senior Lieutenant General Tran Viet Tan, Deputy Minister of the Public Security attended the ceremony.

On 21/10/2015, at the PPA, the Lieutenant-General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem – President of the PPA had a courteous meeting with Mr. Chistohvalov Andrey Victorovoch - Assistant Principal in charge of further education of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) and Ms. Bakasova Elena Shamilievna - Rector of the General School for Foreigners the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The meeting also Leadership of the International Cooperation Department, Student Office and Faculty of Criminal Engineering.

To celebrate the 85 year anniversary of Vietnam Women's Union, with the concent and concern of the Party and Board of Directors, on 20/10/2015, the PPA’s Women Union solemnly organized 85 year anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (20/10/1930 - 20/10/2015) and had a special talk about health care.

On October 20th, 2015, the Openning ceremony on fostering course on investigation for police carders from Ministry of Security of Lao's PDR was officially held by the PPA, according to Co-operation Agreement on training between the Ministry of Public Security of Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Lao PDR in 2015. The ceremony was attended and hosted by Colonel, Assoc. Prof, Tran Minh Chat - Vice President of the PPA.
