On October 6th 2016, in HCM City, PPA in
cooperation with the General Police Department of Criminal Enforcement and
Judicial Assistance, the Ministry of Public Security held a scientific
conference entitled "Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Assistance -

On October 17th, 2016, the PPA held the Opening Ceremony of the school year 2016 - 2017. Lt. Gen, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem had an important speech evaluating the overall operations of the Academy. ,2016, the People's Police Academy, General Political Department of the
People's Public Security held a ceremony to announce decision of the Minister
of Public Security to appoint the Major General, Prof. Dr. Ho Trong Ngu to
be Vice President of of PPA.

October 17th, 2016, the PPA held solemnly the Opening Ceremony of
the academic year 2016 - 2017. Attending the Ceremony were H.E. Senior Lieutenant
General, Prof. Dr. To Lam - Member of Politburo of the Communist Party of
Vietnam, Secretary of Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of
Public Security; representatives of the General Departments, Departments and
Institutions of the Ministry of Public Security; elder teachers and
distinguished domestic and international guests.

In order to fully grasp and implement the Resolution of 12th National Party Congress on ensuring national defense and security, prevention and fighting against crimes, social order and safety assurance, on Sept 15th, 2016, the PPA held a Conference on "prevention of crime, social order and safety assurance in the light of the Resolution of 12th National Party Congress".

Sept 29th, 2016, the PPA in cooperation with the Reasoning
Subcommittee on social security and order, the Ministry of Public Security’s Council
of Theory held a scientific conference on "Prevention, investigation of
drug-related crime in the new situation".

Implementing Decision of the Minister of Public
Security, the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam leading
by Major
General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat, Vice
President of the PPA attended the second CHINA - ASEAN police academic forum held at Quảng
Tây from Sept, 7th - 11th, 2016. Also attending were representatives of the
People's Security academy, the People's Police University, the Immigration
Department - Ministry of Public Security.

On September 22nd, 2016, the PPA solemnly held
the Opening ceremony for the 25th postgraduate course and presenting
Degree of Doctor and Master in 2016. Lieutenant General, Dr. Bui Van Thanh, Deputy
Minister of Public Security attended and chaired the ceremony.

academic and theoretical contribution of the thesis of Postgraduate student Bui Thi Hanh.

On September 9th, the delegation from the Ministry
of Public Security led by Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of
Public Security worked with the PPA and leaders of Vinh Phuc province about
building the 2nd location of PPA at Tam Duong district, Vinh Phuc

26th toSeptember 18th, 2016, 1,381 students of courses
D41, D28 Laos and K2 ofCriminal Justice implemented the political - social
practice in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province, where was rich revolutionary
tradition, the birthplace of Great President Ho Chi Minh (National Liberation Hero
- World Cultural Celebrity - Founder and trainer of Vietnam people's armed forces).
