On December 30th, 2016, PPA in collaboration with High Command of the Mobile Police organized the Conference to review 10 years of training and use of students in staff, armed commanders of security and order protection.

On December 29th, 2016, under the consent of the Subcommittee
for Social Order and Safety - Theoretical Council of the Public Security
Ministry, the PPA in collaboration with the General Department of Police held a
scientific conference with theme "Residence registration and management
contributing to crime prevention in new situation".

In two days of 24th and 25th December,
2016, the PPA Youth Union organized winter voluntary programs in Son A commune,
Van Chan district, Yen Bai province. This is annual activities of Youth Union
to contribute to spreading love, compassion in society.

On December 20th, 2016, the PPA held the opening
ceremony of 1st Hmong language classes in 2016 for officers,
lecturers, students majoring in Reconnaissance on drug-related crime prevention.

On December 19th, 2016, the PPA’s leaders had a
meeting with the high-ranking delegation of Royal Thai Police Academy under the
annual exchange of delegationinthe new MoU between the two Academies.

the evening of December 21st, 2017, the PPA held the special Evening
Gala - Welcoming New Year 2017.This is an annual activity of the Academy to
jointly say “goodbye” the old year and welcome a new year with many new
desires, aspirations.

the PPA held a meeting on the occasion of 70th National Resistance Day (December
19th, 1946 - December 19th, 2016) and 72th founding
anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22nd, 1944 - December

On
December 13th, 2016, the PPA held a workshop: "Organization of
temporary custody and detention management, enforcement under law on temporary
custody, detention enforcement in 2015". Major General, Prof.Dr. Ho
TrongNgu, Vice President of PPA hosted the workshop.

On December 9th,2016,
PPA had a courtesy meeting with the independent evaluation delegation after the
project "Support to strengthen the traffic police training at PPA and
police training institutions in Vietnam" under the request of the Japanese
International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

673 traffic accidents of inland waterways; 448 dead or
missingpeople; 81 injured people; 683 sunk waterway vessels, the total of losses
were estimated at up to 510 billion VND - that is the alarming number of inland
waterway transport accidents in Vietnam for 5 years (2011- 6/2016) as reported
by Ph.D Khuat Viet Hung, the National Committee for Traffic Safetyat the
scientific conference "Ensuring traffic safety on inland waterways"
held on November 16th, 2016 at PPA.

On November 25th, 2016, the PPA held a
voluntary blood donation festival with the support of the Central Institute of
Hematology and Blood Transfusion and Hospital 198 - Ministry of Public
Security.
