With the consent of the leader of the Ministry of Public Security, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of PPA led a delegation to take part in the International exhibition on techniques of protection and crime prevention and visit and worked with the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN). Joining the delegation was Tran Trong Vinh, General Director of Bien Bac Company and Chairman of Asian Professional Security Association.

On April 25th, 2017, Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA had a meeting with the delegation of United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) led by Mrs. Noriko - Specialist on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, Regional Office for Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

On April 12th, 2017, the PPA solemnly held the Conference to summarize 03-year implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in training, scientific research and equipment of technical facilities in the field of forensic science between the PPA and the Institute of Criminal Science.

On March 31st, 2017, the PPA held the competition of Excellent Class
Group Leaders and the Model Class on execution of the Public Security regulations.
This activity aimed at implementing the plan of the Politics General Department
on the organization of activities to promote the movement of good teaching, study
and practice in the police training institutions.

On April 04th, 2017, the PPA held a
thematic talk on “Improving the culture of behavior, communication, building up
the good image of police officers in the mind of the people”. The talk had the
presence of speaker - Doctor of Aesthetic Pham The Hung, Chairman of the AT
Scientific Committee - Academy of Asia-Pacific Management and Leadership.

On April 04th, 2017, the Opening Ceremony
of Competition of Shooting and Martial Arts for the youth of the Public
Security force in the North in 2017 took place at the Center for Training and
Sport of the Public Security force. The PPA’s students participated won the
third prize for entire group in the competition.

On April 03rd, 2017,
the PPA organized a launching ceremony of special emulation campaign to
commemorate the 50 year of establishment of the PPA (May 15th, 1968
- May 15th, 2018).

With the consent of the Party Committee, Board of Directors of the PPA, from April 8th, 2017, the PPA Youth Union organized a series of sport activities for the students to welcome the 17thPPA Communist Youth Union Congress, term 2017 - 2019.
