On February 28th, 2017, the Department of Student
Management and the Youth Union jointly organized a Ceremony to launch the
Campaign “Building the People's Public Security style “Bravery, humanity, for
the people to serve”” and the Youth Month 2017 for students. This is one of
many activities of the PPA Youth Union to mark the 86th anniversary of
foundation of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and to celebrate the 17thCommunist
Youth Union Congress of PPA.

With more than 6,000 members, the PPA Youth Union has always promoted dynamism, creativity and initiative, made effort in learning, actively participated in volunteer activities for community, contributing to the development of PPA with a historical depth of nearly 50 years of formation.

On March 1st, PPAcoordinated with the Public
Security Department of Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province held the ceremony of
inaugurating and handing-over a gratitude house, worth VND170 million for
heroic Vietnamese mothers Pham ThiTien (DienQuangcommune, Dien Ban town, Quang
Nam province).

Within the framework of
cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the
Australian Federal Police (AFP), from February 17th to 27th,
2017, the participants of 42nd Asia Region Law Enforcement Management Program
(ARLEMP 42) had a program of work at the PPA.

2016 was the year of many important events of the
country such as the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam,
the election to the 14th National Assembly and all-level People’s
Councils for the 2016 - 2021 tenure, the 70th anniversary of the National
Resistance Day (December 19th, 1946 - December 19th,
2016), etc.

On February 22nd, 2017, the Basic Professional Department
held fact-finding trip for students in Da Chong - K9 historical relic site, Ba
Vi, Hanoi.

On January 16th, 2017, PPA held ceremony on detaching 500
students of 40th course (D40) to support the Public Security of Hanoi City to
ensure security and order in the Capital during Tet holiday 2017.

delegation of Liaison officers of Australian Federal Police (AFP) in Vietnam.

On January 17th, 2017, the PPA in collaboration
with Trung Tuyen Co., Ltd, Dong Nai Province organized the program “Warm Tet” at
Dong Thinh Commune, Song Lo District, Vinh Phuc province with meaningful activities,
including visiting, presenting gifts, healthy examination and medicine
allocation for the local people.

Implementing
working program of the school-year 2016 - 2017, welcoming the new year 2017, Student
Management Department in coordination with the Head Teacher Board of 41st
course (D41) held charitable programs, exchange of culture and sport... for
students on duty, towards creating a playful, healthy, safe and cozy atmosphere
on Tet holiday.

In an exciting atmosphere of Lunar New Year 2017,
celebrating 87 years of establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on
January 20th, 2017, PPA held the inauguration ceremony of Statue of
Revolutionist Felix Dzerzhinsky, founder of the first Soviet Public Security
agencies in the world with the famous quote: "the Public Security officers must have a cool head, warm heart
and clean hands" .
