On the morning of May 8th, in the historic Ba Dinh Square, the delegation of the PPA led by Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem – President of the Academ, the Directorate and leaders of the units, honorably reported achievements to Uncle Ho on the occasion of the 128th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday (19/5/1890 - 19/5/2018), the 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for patriotic emulation (11/6/1948 - 11/6/2018) and the 50th anniversary of the PPA’s foundation (15/5/1968 - 15/5/2018).

With the agreement of the leaders of Ministry of Public Security, on 27th April 2018, the People's Police Academy solemnly held a Scientific Conference: "The People’s Police Academy – 50 years of building and development orientation"; Introducing the Alumni Association of the Academy, Introducing Dau Thi Huyen Tram Scholarship Fund and inaugurating the Center for Professional Practice and Training.
