On June 19, 2018 under the approval of the Ministry of Public Security, the People’s Police Academy held a meeting with the delegation from University of Maryland, USA led by Mr. Gregory Ball, Dean of University of Maryland’s College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS). Maj.Gen.Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Minh Chat, Vice-President of the PPA chaired the meeting with the attendance of representatives of International Cooperation Department and Training and Education Management Department.

On June 11th, 2018, the PPA organized the launching ceremony to start the summer volunteer program in 2018. Attending the ceremony were representatives of Department of Political Affairs, Executive Board of PPA Youth Union and all officers and students participating in volunteer program in summer 2018.

In performing the curriculum of the academic year of 2017 - 2018, on May 23rd 2018, the People's Police Academy organized a departure ceremony for 1127 students of courses D41 and D28 Laos to practice basic professions in Public Security forces of Bac Ninh province and Bac Giang province.
